Students from visa point of view get divided into to categories:
1 - Citizens of those countries which can get entry visa from all Armenian checkpoints / borders get a tourist visa (21 days to 4 months) on their own initiative and arrive in Yerevan. Later on, they complete processing of all necessary documents at the university, after which university assists them to get student visa.
2 - Citizens of those countries, which can receive their entry visa permission only from the local Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, before applying to the Embassy they should complete the processing of their documentation at the University, receive the final acceptance letter from us and only thereafter student should apply to the local Embassy/ Consular representation/ of the Republic of Armenia, get the entry visa permission and fly to Yerevan.
